Happy new year from Thrive! Bella and I got our first workout of the new year in. You have the choice to make 2017 your best year yet. Here are three tips to make your goals effective:
1) Know your exact goal. Write it down. Set measurable goals that you can track daily to ensure your success.
2) Find your x-factor. What drives you? What is your motivation to reach your goal? Know exactly what your motivation is, because it will be the fuel you need to continue working on your goals until you reach them.
3) What can you do every single day to reach your goal? Write it down. Work on achieving it every single day.

Such a great day working with the young kids at Champion’s Gymnastics for their camp. We did a group workout class with battle ropes, resistance bands, medicine balls, agility ladders, and a martial arts based theme. So much fun!

We proudly welcome our newest trainer and member of the Thrive team! Alexus specializes in exercise programming, nutritional counseling, assisted stretching, and corrective exercise.
In school, Alexus studied Business and was a 3 star varsity athlete. Her top sports were basketball, volleyball, and track, which she was an All American in the 4×100 M. event. She is a phenomenal athlete and now applies her high level sports background to helping others become healthier.

After Rick’s first month at Thrive, and 3rd attempt Dead Lifting, he pulled 315 lbs off of the floor (2.18x his body weight) for a HUGE PR! He is only getting started, we have set huge goals and we’re going to crush them.
He also had a huge rowing pr by generating 504 watts (up 250 watts from day 1). He’s a hard worker inside and outside of the gym, motivated by success, that’s how you THRIVE!!! Nice work Rick!
