Fasted Cardio

Fasting cardio (on a empty stomach for 3-4 hours, or first thing in the morning) is the best way to burn fat while doing any cardio workouts. BUT, it’s very important to replenish your body’s fuel stores with a healthy meal/smoothie within 30 minutes after your workout to avoid your body entering a “starvation mode.” Maintaining starvation will actually allow your body to store MORE fat instead of getting rid of it over time, because your body will feed off of muscle tissue instead of fat. Lean muscle tissue is the only way to increase your metabolism and allow your body to burn fat more efficiently. Make sure you give your body the right types of fuel it needs throughout the day, with the proper nutrients to make the most out of your workouts and get healthier.

Find Your ‘X- Factor’

“What is your motivation, or what I like to call, x-factor?
An x-factor is the strongest factor or variable that motivates you to work hard and reach your goal. This is such an important factor in goal setting because it releases the most significant emotional response when it comes to thinking of your goal. This is the feeling you get when nothing else matters. You feel like you’re in control of your world when you’re taking steps in the right direction.
Fear or obstacles can’t get in the way anymore, can you handle the adversity?”
