Fitness Tip:
Cut out High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) from your diet. HFCS is a genetically modified form of “sugar” that your body doesn’t naturally respond to. It causes significant weight gain and body fat storage, increases your risk of getting type 2 diabetes, increases hypertension and bad cholesterol levels, and long term Liver damage. Knowing that, too much of any form of sugar isn’t good for you, but complex carbohydrates and fructose from fruits and vegetables should be your diets main source of Carbohydrates. Read the back of your food labels to ensure that you’re not eating this GMO, or any GMO! Aim to eat all natural macro nutrients (proteins, carbohydrates, and fats), with limited portion sizes for your health needs in order to reach your health and fitness goals more efficiently.

Remember, “real food doesn’t have ingredients, real food is ingredients.” Be sure to eat for fuel and not for comfort to become the most efficient version of yourself that you can be. That’s how you Thrive!

Happy Holidays and I hope to see you all after Christmas and the New Year!
