Fitness Tip: 
Cut out High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) from your diet. HFCS is a genetically modified form of “sugar” that your body doesn’t naturally respond to. It causes significant weight gain and body fat storage, increases your risk of getting type 2 diabetes, increases hypertension and bad cholesterol levels, and long term Liver damage. Knowing that, too much of any form of sugar isn’t good for you, but complex carbohydrates and fructose from fruits and vegetables should be your diets main source of Carbohydrates. Read the back of your food labels to ensure that you’re not eating this GMO, or any GMO! Aim to eat all natural┬ámacro nutrients┬á(proteins, carbohydrates, and fats), with limited portion sizes for your health needs in order to reach your health and fitness goals more efficiently.
Remember, “real food doesn’t have ingredients, real food is ingredients.” Be sure to eat for fuel and not for comfort to become the most efficient version of yourself that you can be. That’s how you Thrive!

As some of you may know, my good friend and amazing fitness coach, Pat has been diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer. He’s one of the most passionate people I’ve ever met in my field and bends over backwards for his clients. He said no matter what, he’ll be there to fight for his clients and fight through his cancer battle, and come out on top!!! As he said, your true character is defined when you have to put up with adversity in your life, and how you react to it. He’s such an amazing person, friend, and mentor of mine.
